Campsite Description

Hilltop log Cabin (Sleeps 4-9)

Our Hilltop Cabins offer more than just a place to sleep—they’re a true escape into nature, with all the essentials to keep things simple and comfortable. No need to pack the whole house—just show up and settle in.

Each cabin features two full-sized bunk beds, plus a cozy loft with one full-size mattress and one twin mattress—ideal for families or small groups. We provide pillows and a packet of clean sheets for your convenience.

Inside, you’ll find a small kitchenette stocked with dishes, pans, and basic utensils. There is an air conditioner to help keep things cool on hot summer days. Outside, enjoy your own deck and a charcoal grill while taking in the peaceful hilltop setting.

Please note: Our cabins do not have bathrooms or running water, but we provide a large refillable water container to make your stay easier.

Chimney Rock Campground is more than a camping trip away, it is a campground resort with river trips leaving from our grounds! Part of what makes Chimney Rock so special is our amenities are included. We do have high-speed wifi at the rec building/office – so if you need to send an email or stream a movie on a rainy day, we’ve got you covered. 

Our base rates include more amenities than you would expect from any other camping experience, including access to:

    • Access to Common Spaces/Amenities: Bathhouse, Newly-Renovated Rec Building
    • Access to Outdoor Amenities: Beach, Sand Volleyball, Horseshoes, ladder balls, Trails

There is also a general store on site for guests’ needs selling pantry items, beverages, toiletries, ice, and firewood. Visit the store at the rec building to see our full inventory.

These cozy cabins offer more than just a place to rest—they’re a true nature retreat, thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to keep your stay simple, comfortable, and stress-free. No need to pack it all—just arrive and relax.
Each cabin includes one full-sized bunk bed and a loft with an additional full-size mattress—ideal for a small family or group. Pillows and a packet of clean sheets are provided for your convenience.
Inside, you’ll find a small kitchenette stocked with dishes for six, pans, basic utensils, plastic cups, coffee mugs, and a coffee maker. An air conditioner helps keep things cool on warm days. Step outside to enjoy your own charcoal grill and take in the quiet beauty of the surrounding meadow. Traveling with a friend with a camper? Inquire with the office about booking the site next to the cabin for the camper.

This glamping cabin sleeps up to 6 comfortably. It is located within an easy walking distance of the bathhouse, is set within tall trees, and has a great view of the lower meadow. 

With glamping all the craze, this cabin affords for the luxury of real furniture without exorbitant prices. Guests get much more than just another shelter in nature; this cabin is a source of lifelong memories and a sense of adventure. Its natural light creates a feeling of spaciousness, warmth, and relaxation while the festive decor will ensure you to have fun on your trip away! Enjoy nature without having to pack all of your stuff! 

This cabin is outfitted with two full-sized bunk bed sets and a full size loft-style bed. It also has a kitchenette and the unit has full electric. Outdoors the deck is home to a charcoal grill,  picnic table and firepit. There is parking for two vehicles with overflow parking available at the bathhouse.
